Independent School Adventure Activities Association (ISAAA) and the Outdoor Education Advisors Panel (OEAP) Adventureworks supports the work of ISAAA and OEAP and has worked with many schools that are members of these organisations. We regularly attend their conferences and workshops and are always able to provide advice to members. Adventureworks conforms to all codes of practice given by ISAAA and OEAP on planning and delivering overseas expeditions.
Scout and Guide Associations We work closely with both the Scouts and Guides Associations, providing UK courses and overseas expeditions for groups from these organisations.
Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA) Adventureworks holds an AALA License. This is relevant to all courses and expeditions that we run in the UK.
Young Explorers' Trust (YET) We are an organisational member of The Young Explorers' Trust, which provides valuable advice and training for those who lead groups overseas. Our staff have contributed to a number of YET events and are always happy to advise leaders during the preparation stages of their expeditions.
The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Adventureworks holds a Duke of Edinburgh's Award Commercial Access Organisation License.
Thornbridge Outdoor Centre Adventureworks base a large number of our pre-expedition and skills training courses at Thornbridge Outdoors, near Bakewell in the Peak District. Thornbridge Outdoors can also provide Walking Group Leader (WGL), Mountain Leader (ML) and Single Pitch Award (SPA) training and assessment courses for teachers and group leaders.
Undercover Rock (UCR) We work in partnership with this Bristol climbing centre to deliver overseas expeditions as part of the UCR's schools and youth groups outdoors syllabus. UCR also delivers many of our pre-expedition training programmes to schools in the south of England and Wales. UCR also provides WGL and SPA training and assessment courses.
