The company's global experience extends our expertise to some of the most remote and challenging parts of the world, our full-time office team here in the UK are able to provide you with a high level of personal service. We are not the biggest schools expedition provider, but we are most accessible. From your first contact with us, you will be dealing with the people who are intimately involved with the provision of your expedition or course. Here are some of the key people:

Mike Rosser Adventureworks Manager // Mike is a former teacher and lecturer with over 20 years' experience of PE, outdoor education and organising overseas expeditions. Mike is a qualified Mountaineering Instructor (MIC) and has overall responsibility for the quality of our expedition and course delivery.

Tom Briggs Marketing Director // Tom is responsible for developing and improving Adventureworks' services. He is a very experienced climber and 'new router' and has travelled extensively throughout the world, on expeditions from Greenland to Nepal.

Tessa Harrison Sales & Marketing Coordinator // Tessa coordinates the sales and marketing of our Adventureworks programme. She works closely with our team of Regional Coordinators, who are responsible for developing expedition programmes with teachers.

Stephen Bell Chairman // Stephen is the founder and Chairman of Jagged Globe and Adventureworks. An IFMGA Mountain Guide, Stephen was the first Briton to guide clients to the summit of Everest and has climbed the highest peak on every continent. His outdoor background also includes work for the British Antarctic Survey and as a Royal Marines officer.

Simon Lowe Managing Director // Simon trained as an outdoor education teacher and has over 20 years' experience organising and leading expeditions. He is a qualified Mountaineering Instructor and started his exploration of the world's mountains whilst serving as an officer in the British Army. He led some of our first expeditions for youth groups, including a Scout group to Stok Kangri, a 6,000m peak in Ladakh, India in 1990.

Adele Pennington Head of Operations // Adele is a qualified teacher and Mountaineering Instructor. Her experience includes teaching science and outdoor education, running the Duke of Edinburgh's Award and membership of a Mountain Rescue team. She regularly leads expeditions for Adventureworks as well as instructing on our courses in the UK. Adele also acts as a Regional Coordinator for the North of England.

Claire Prosser Adventureworks Operations Assistant // Claire has been able to combine her passions for skiing, mountaineering, orienteering and mountain biking with extensive travel throughout Europe, Asia and Australasia. She has experience of leading youth expeditions and has combined this in the past with teaching work in language schools.

In the office
At the administrative hub of the office, dealing with enquiries, bookings, flight reservations, insurance and equipment are Lisa Newton, Stephanie Hopkinson, Kerry Cooper, Natalie Hawthorn and Matt Parkes.

Company doctor
Dr David Hillebrandt is an experienced traveller and mountaineer, who advises our groups on all aspects of health care related to Adventureworks expeditions. He also provides additional training for our expedition leaders.
