An expedition in Europe is an excellent way of completing your Gold Award in a more challenging an exciting setting.
Destinations include:
Slovakia and the Tatra Mountains
Corsica and the GR20 route
Spain and the Picos d'Europa
Norway
Greenland
Turkey
France and Switzerland and the famous long distance trekking routes such as the Tour du Mont Blanc or Haute route
All of these treks can be combined with a longer expedition itinerary including climbing, canyoning, kayaking, cultural visits, and white water rafting.
