Orpierre
This seven to ten day course is based in the picturesque climbing centre of Orpierre, in southern France. We base our groups in a gîte in the centre of the village, overlooking the medieval fountain in the square, or at the excellent local campsite. The cliffs around Orpierre are within fifteen minutes walk of the village and offer a range of bolted sport climbing at all grades. There are also exciting 'Via Ferrata' walks nearby, canyon descents and rafting on the Durance River.

Programmes in Orpierre can include:

+ Climbing skills coaching
+ Rope handling and belaying
+ Working as a team with your climbing partner(s)
+ Guidebooks and route finding
+ Via Ferratas
+ Gorge walking/canyoning
+ Rafting

French Pyrenees
Your group fly to Toulouse and are transported to the course base by road. Montauban de Luchon is a centre for mountaineering, nestled in the heart of the Pyrenees, 7 kms from the border crossing to Spain. We can either stay in a hostel or camp close to the village. The surrounding area is perfect for one to two weeks of activities, including mountain trekking (previous groups have trekked part of the GR10 trail), rock climbing, mountain biking, horse riding and rafting.

The Picos de Europa
For those seeking adventure in a rugged but beautiful setting, within easy travelling distance of the UK, Spain proves to be a superb destination. There are options for all seasons of the year and possible objectives include:

+ Trekking in the foothills of the Pyrenees.
+ Climbing, canyoning, caving and mountain biking in the Picos de Europa mountain range.
+ Scrambling, trekking and rock climbing in the Costa Blanca region.
+ Relaxing in the soothing waters of the natural thermal pools.
+ Skiing.
