Duration– 14 - 21 day expeditions
After arrival in Uganda, expeditions head to either Mt Elgon National Park or the Rwenzori Mountains to begin their programme. The choice of area gives the opportunity to trek into the mountains, staying in mountain huts and passing through Giant Heath forests, over mountain passes and past extraordinary caves in the two different Mountain ranges. There is also the opportunity to summit the great Margherita Peak or the incredible Wagagai Peak before heading off to enjoy the rest of what Uganda has to offer.
Expedition itineraries can also include activities such as white water rafting at one of the world's best white water rafting centers, working on a project with a local school, viewing the spectacular three-tiered Sipi Falls, enjoying a game drive and boat ride to view some of Uganda's wonderful wildlife from wild cats to buffalo and hippos or even tracking mountain Gorillas in the Bwindi National Park.
