Everest Fund Raising Lectures (30th Jan)
Adventureworks is part of Jagged Globe, who organise expeditions to many of the world’s highest mountains, as well as treks in the Himalayas and the Andes. Some of our most experienced Jagged Globe leaders are available to give lectures, which schools can then use to raise funds for their Adventureworks expedition. For example, Neal Short, a teacher and instructor on Merseyside, was a leader on the Jagged Globe 2005 Everest North Ridge expedition. Neal recently spoke to an audience at Westholme School in Lancashire about his experiences of climbing into the ‘Death Zone’ and is due to deliver another illustrated lecture in Paris this coming spring.
A fund-raising lecture is just one idea contained in our comprehensive Fund Raising Booklet, which is provided to all students at your school who might be considering joining an Adventureworks expedition. If you are interested in using an illustrated lecture as a fund-raising event for your expedition, please get in touch.
Happy New Year! (1st Jan)
We would just like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who have travelled with Adventureworks over the past year, and look forward to working with schools in 2006 and 2007.
