Oundle Gold Cycle expedition (31st Oct)
5 girls from Oundle school successfully completed thier qualifying expedition for the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award by bike in the Peak District. Both photo's and a trip report are now online.

Our first pre-expedition weekend! (25th Oct)
Our first pre-expedition weekend ahead of next year’s expeditions was held on 6-8 October at Thornbridge Outdoors. Fifteen eager expedition-ers from Wellingborough School assembled for a successful weekend of training in preparation for their adventure in Borneo next summer.

Activities included a jungle-style low ropes course, a question and answer session with our jungle expert Dom Hall, the putting up of hammocks, bashas and mossie nets - their accommodation in the jungle, as well as team building games which provided a lot of amusement – especially the drainpipes and ball game!

This weekend proved both fun and informative. A great start to the pre-expedition season!
