JoLT is a small charity run on a totally voluntary basis by a group of ordinary people with families and careers. It was set up in 1983 to make a positive lasting difference to the lives of disabled, ill, neglected and abused young people. This year the JoLT team is of to Borneo to discover the secretes of the unspoiled rainforests. The plan is to see orangutans in their natural habitat, snorkel on the coral reefs, camp on beaches and in wildlife settings, follow jungle trails and explore huge cave chambers. Mike and Paul from Adventureworks had a final briefing with the Jolt leader team this weekend and the countdown to departure is on.
Adventureworks and Derbyshire Youth Exploration Group (15th Jun)
Derbyshire Youth Exploration Group (DYEG) is a reputable, responsible organisation, which has been giving young adults the opportunity for personal growth and development through exploration since 1967. All they ask is that you live in Derbyshire, go to school or college in the county, and you're able to raise the funds (with our support and ideas of course!). Oh, and that you're ready for the time of your life . .
Adventureworks uses it’s expertise gained from years of providing expeditions for school and youth groups to provide administration for all DYEG expeditions. We are presently working with DYEG on a number of different expeditions. For further information follow www. dyeg.org.uk
