Expedition Updates (20th Jul)

Our leaders are equipped with satellite phones for emergencies but these can’t be used for normal everyday communications. Where possible our leaders will update us by text or e-mail and we will post updates on our facebook page so you can keep up to date with the teams. Just follow the link at the side to get to our page.

Schools go to Borneo (20th Jul)
[The final few boards, 1 kb]Chenderit School and Watford Grammar School for Girls both leave for Borneo this week. Both schools are carrying out project work at the Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary that rehabilitates Orangutans before releasing them back into the wild. Orangutans are susceptible to human diseases resulting in there being very strict rules at Sepilok. Unfortunately a recent group (not from Adventureworks) visiting the Sanctuary broke these rules and we almost lost our project. Luckily Adventureworks has a very good record and we were able to reinstate the project for our groups. Up dates for this and other expeditions can be found on our facebook page just use the.
