Well two years beginning with an idea and moving through the planning and fundraising have just culminated in a fantastic expedition to Morocco with Paul. It was an amazing experience for all of us, and far exceeded all my expectations. The trip was a truly memorable one - I did take a group of fine young people with me, so the potential for success was there. Our guide Hassan was extremely good. He worked well with the team, and helped to ensure that an excellent relationship developed between the Berber support teams and our group. Paul's leadership was second to none. He gave the team (all of us !) responsibility, confidence and the motivation to seize every new opportunity. He was sensitive to the needs of the whole group, and of individuals, tolerant and calm. Paul also has high expectations of effort and behaviour, and a tremendous sense of humour. We were all highly motivated by his approach to life, the mountains, a new country and its people, and are appreciative of the integral role he played in making the Morocco Expedition a cultural, physical and social experience that we will never forget. I am planning something for July 2007 and hope that he will agree to lead us again.

I was delighted throughout the planning stage that your philosophy of the expedition challenge so clearly matched what I wanted us to experience. I often find it difficult to put into words what I hope to achieve through outdoor education, but Paul always seemed to know what I was after. As well as Paul's very significant input, I have been very impressed by the back up organisation you have given. Amy Haines has been superb - extremely efficient and friendly, and always coming back to me immediately with the information I needed. Likewise Paul always returned calls promptly, and this does help you to feel confident about the organisation.

My thanks then to everyone who has been involved in the planning and delivery of the Fairfield Morocco Expedition - I think it may have changed a few lives.

I will forward the more official evaluation as soon as I have collected it from school.
